My Car Hobby

So.. for those who know me it is no secret that I am a car nut. My current toy has been a Corvette, but my true love falls with the old Mopars. So my current car collection consists of a mint 2000 Convertible Corvete, a 2003 Hemi Ram, 1 1973 Dodge Challenger that I am currently planning for an all out race car and a 1974 Dodge Challenger that I am likely planning to build into a street rod some days.

Vararam B2 Cold Air Intake

Well, I finally got around to installing my Vararam B2. I have to say that I impressed with the results, the intake was all it was advertised to be performance wise. It also lived up to its name installation wise. It was by far the single most difficult intake that i have EVER installed. My arms nice and scratched up and my fingers are raw from turning tiny bolts and screws in difficult to reach areas. It was well worth it and a good time though!!!

Silicon Couplers

You can argue performance gains on this modification. Lets be realistic though, this didn't add much if any horsepower, I did it just for looks for the most part. Installation was simple so I am not going to include instructions other than saying, remove the old clamps from the accordion coupler and install the new one. I was installing a Vararam at the same time so I also replaced the MAF coupler as well. One thing that is noteworthy is that the local auto parts store did not …
